Who we are and our role
LiveDemo is operated by Lasya AI Tech. This policy explains what we collect when you use the LiveDemo web app, the Chrome extension, the demo player that your visitors see, and this website.
For your own account, billing and support we are the controller. For the pages you record and the leads your demos collect, you are the controller and we act as your processor, handling that data only to provide the service to you. A data-processing agreement is available on request at siddhu@lasyaaitech.com.
What the extension records
The extension does nothing until you press Record, and only in the tab where you started. For each click it saves the page code (HTML and styles) as it looked just before the click, the scroll position and window size, the element you clicked, and a screenshot of the visible tab. Images, fonts and stylesheets used by the page may be fetched so the step renders correctly later.
Password fields are always masked before anything leaves your browser. With Mask all form inputs on, every input value is masked too. Masked values are never uploaded.
AI clean-up
Rule-based detectors look for emails, phone numbers, card numbers, IBANs, Indian PAN and Aadhaar patterns and US SSN patterns, and propose blurring them. To suggest sample names, companies and amounts, write captions and translate them, we send short visible-text excerpts from your recording to a language-model provider acting as our sub-processor. We do not send masked values, and we do not allow that provider to train on your data where the provider offers that control. Every AI change is shown to you and can be undone.
Demo visitors
The player that shows your demo sets no cookies and we never store visitor IP addresses. To count views and step drop-off, the player keeps a random visitor identifier in the browser’s local storage on the player domain; we store only a daily-salted hash of it, plus the step reached, the referring site and an approximate country from our hosting provider. Unlisted preview links send no analytics.
If a demo shows a lead form, the visitor’s email (and name or company if asked) goes to the demo owner, who decides how it is used.
Storage, sharing and transfers
Raw recordings are kept in private storage that only your workspace can reach. Only processed snapshots of demos you publish are served publicly. We use hosting, storage, email and payment providers (including Stripe and Razorpay for payments) as sub-processors. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Retention and deletion
You can delete a demo at any time; its files and records are purged within 30 days. You can delete individual leads, and ask us to delete your whole workspace. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a regulator. Children and changes
LiveDemo is a business tool and is not directed at children. If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, for account holders, notify you by email.
