The extension doesn’t see my account
Sign in at the app with the extension installed, then open the New demo screen. It connects automatically. If it still shows “Sign in”, reload the app tab once.
A step looks different from my app
Some content (closed shadow DOM, cross-origin iframes, blank canvases) is shown as a screenshot of that area. If a whole step fails, it becomes an image step marked in the editor. Re-record from that step to try again.
How do I capture a dropdown or hover menu?
Use Capture this screen on the recording toolbar. You get a short countdown to open the menu before the step is saved.
Can I change text after recording?
Yes. Click any text on the editor canvas and type. Choose “Apply to all steps” to change the same text everywhere, such as a customer name.
Will republishing break my embed?
No. The embed snippet points to your demo, not a version. Publishing again updates it everywhere.
How do I delete a demo or my data?
Delete a demo from the dashboard; files are purged within 30 days. Leads can be deleted individually. For a full workspace deletion, contact us.
